Division 2 Zone 4 – Match Day 2
Fast Track FC earned a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Asawase Ginak FC in the second league fixture of the 2025/26 season, played on Sunday, November 16 at the Bantama Astro Turf before an estimated 300 spectators. The performance showed discipline, structure, and maturity across all departments.
The opening half was competitive, with both sides working to establish midfield control. Fast Track FC maintained organisation, created several promising movements, and defended with composure whenever pressure mounted. Despite cautions for both teams, the first period ended goalless.
A strong start to the second half shifted the momentum. Following an early substitution that introduced Nana Yaw Gyamfi, Fast Track FC increased the tempo. In the 50th minute, a well-executed attacking sequence found Yeboah Adu, who calmly delivered the decisive goal. The finish handed Fast Track FC a crucial advantage.
Game management became the focus afterward. Timely substitutions—Appiah Kubi and later Yaw Boadi—added energy and reinforced defensive and midfield stability. Asawase Ginak FC attempted to respond, but Fast Track FC’s back line stayed resilient, and the midfield worked tirelessly to cut off supply lines.
In the final minutes, the team maintained concentration and ensured the narrow lead remained intact until the final whistle. The disciplined approach earned a well-deserved away win.
For the second consecutive match, Abdul-Rahman Bauh produced an outstanding midfield performance. His control, ball distribution, and leadership earned him the Player of the Match award once again.
Fast Track FC continues its positive momentum heading into Match Day 3.
