Week 10: Vital Stars vs Fast Track FC

Our noisy neighbor silenced and humiliated by quality football, resilience, and tactical discipline

Week 10: Vital Stars vs Fast Track FC match report

On Sunday, March 10, 2024, Fast Track FC put the bitterest rivals, Vita Stars, in their proper position by beating them 2 goals to nil.

Two second-half goals from Kwame Boateng and Stephen Agyei were enough for the GIANTS to take all three points.

Our opponent made some incursions in the first half, but our safest pair of hands came to our rescue, making some decent saves and preventing the ball from entering the net. He put up a good performance that will eventually make him the Man of The match.

The GIANTS took control of the second half, creating decent chances and putting up a massive performance. In the 81st minute, Stephen Agyei, popularly known as Kudus, opened the scoresheet, assisted by substitute Kwame Boateng. In the 85th minute, the former Asante Kotoko attacker Kwame Boteng scored a long ranger to increase the goal tally to two; an assist from Ampratwun Prosper made this possible.

In an interview after the match, goalkeeper Godfred Boakye expressed his happiness at being adjudged the best player of the match and reiterated his commitment to helping the team win the remaining games.

“I will first thank the almighty God for making us win today’s game. Secondly, I will thank the coaches and the management. We were determined to win this match; all our mindsets and preparations were to win this match, and I am happy to be adjudged the Man of The Match. As we advance the fans should expect more from us.” Godfred said
