HISTORY: Sensational Fast Track FC qualifies to the Ashanti Regional Division Two Middle League in their maiden season

After dramatic scenes on 20th April 2024 at the  Prempeh College School Park, a point was enough to make history as Fast Track FC lift their first ever trophy and qualification into the Ashanti Regional FA Division Two Middle League.

Fast track FC drew 2-2 with Riverplate to become champions of Movie House Division 2 Zone 1 for the first time in history. For all pandemonium that ensued in the minutes after a final whistle the most poignant motif was the sheer number of grown men still sitting in their seats, quietly weeping. Still not quite believing in the dream, even as it was becoming flesh in front of their eyes. It is hard to visualize something that has never physically existed before.

THE GIANTS played 14, won 8, drawn 5 and lost 1. Although it was a must win game but due to unsportsmanlike conduct from their rivals, Vital Stars who’s just a point beneath them sees them forfeit the game and the luxurious three points was given to their opponents.

Due to technical brilliance of head coach Amos Frimpong and his technical team, the dream of Fast Track FC fans came true. And also, not forgetting the savior and shot stopper, GODFRED BOAKYE, calm and stunning defense from EMMANUEL ELI KEKE, RAYMOND KONADU ANTWI, GYAASE EMMANUEL, quality and world class midfielders RICHARD ADUSEI, AMPRATWUM PROSPER, OPOKU AFRIYIE, deadly forwards, YAW BOADI, STEPHEN AGYEI and the experienced KWAME BOATENG, all contributed to this glory.

“Congratulations to the team for the performance when we played football with confidence and created chances” said the delightful Fast Track FC head coach.

But as dazed fans filled back through the park, nobody was thinking too hard about any of that. A new reality was taking shape, a separation of past torments and present fantasies between the fast track fc that exists now and a fast track fc that will never exist again.

The management of the team thanks the fans for their enormous support throughout the campaign and hopeful they will replicate same support during the middle league.
