Official Communiqué: Coach Mark Kwame Nkrumah is now the head coach of Fast Track Football Club

 

Fast Track FC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mark Kwame Nkrumah as our new Head Coach. His unveiling took place during a special ceremony at Fast Track College premises, attended by our board members, management team, communication officers and our beloved supporters as well as the general public. The event also served as an opportunity to introduce our complete technical team to the public, highlighting our strategic vision for the upcoming seasons.

Meet Our New Head Coach: Mark Kwame Nkrumah

Mark Kwame Nkrumah, a seasoned coach with extensive experience in Ghana’s football landscape, takes the reins as the head coach of Fast Track FC. Born on May 20, 1995, in Tarkwa, Western Region, Mark has cultivated a strong reputation for his tactical acumen and ability to nurture young talent. He holds a CAF Coaching ‘B’ License and has completed various advanced coaching courses with the Ghana Football Association (GFA). Over the years, he has served in multiple coaching capacities, including roles at Medeama SC, West African Football Academy (WAFA), and Sydney Sporting Club.

Under his leadership, Mark has achieved notable successes, such as qualifying Medeama SC’s youth team from the 2nd Division to the 1st Division and promoting several young talents to senior teams, including Premier League sides. His commitment to developing young players aligns with Fast Track FC’s vision of building a sustainable future for the club.

 

Coach Mark Kwame Nkrumah’s Vision for Fast Track FC

During the unveiling ceremony, Coach Mark Kwame Nkrumah shared his ambitious vision for the team. With a focus on training and player development, he emphasized his commitment to elevating Fast Track FC to world-class standards.

“Our primary objective is to nurture and develop our players to meet the highest levels of football excellence. Through intensive training sessions, modern techniques, and a focus on both physical and mental conditioning, we aim to create a squad that not only competes but excels on the field,” Coach Nkrumah stated.

He continued, “Fast Track FC has already shown great potential by reaching the middle league of the Ashanti Regional Division 2 in our debut season. My goal is to surpass this achievement and ensure that we consistently perform at the top tier of Ghana Football. With the right mindset, dedication, and teamwork, I am confident that we can take this club to greater heights, setting new records and becoming a formidable force in the league.”

Coach Nkrumah’s plans align with Fast Track FC’s long-term vision of becoming a leading football club in Ghana, known for developing top talent and competing at the highest levels.

Unveiling of the Technical Team

In addition to the appointment of Mark Kwame Nkrumah, we are excited to introduce the other key members of our technical team:

  • Abdul Aziz Bashiru (AKA Ampe): Former Galaxy United Coach, joins us as the new Goalkeepers Coach. Abdul brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in grooming top-class goalkeepers.
  • Zakariya Abdul Mumin: Appointed as Assistant Coach 2, Zakariya has a solid background in coaching and will play a crucial role in supporting the head coach in tactical and match-day preparations.
  • Umar Adams: Serving as Assistant Coach 1, Umar’s expertise and strategic insights will be invaluable as we strive to achieve our competitive objectives.

These appointments mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Fast Track FC. With a blend of experience and fresh ideas, we are confident that our technical team is well-equipped to lead us to new heights.
